The personal data that may be processed is video footage where individuals can be directly or indirectly identified.
This may include, for example:

Camera surveillance may take place in and around Varbergs Precision AB’s premises, for example at entrances, gates, façades, loading areas, parking areas, yard areas, warehouses and other security-critical areas.
Camera-monitored areas are marked with signs.
The legal basis for the processing is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR.
Our legitimate interest is to protect our business, premises, property, employees, visitors and information, and to prevent, detect and investigate security incidents.
We have carried out a balancing test and assessed that the camera surveillance is necessary and proportionate in relation to these purposes.
Recorded camera footage is normally stored for 7 days.
Footage may be stored for a longer period if necessary to investigate an incident, handle an insurance matter, file a police report, establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or comply with another legal obligation.
When the footage is no longer needed, it is deleted.
Only authorised personnel may access camera footage.

Suppliers who process personal data on behalf of Varbergs Precision AB must be covered by a data processing agreement.
Camera footage shall, as a general rule, be processed within the EU/EEA.
